📌 Business Track: AI-Powered Platform Utilizing Data-Driven User Personas
In today’s data-driven world, businesses need to understand their customers deeply to create personalized experiences. This track challenges participants to harness the power of data to build accurate and actionable user personas which can be used in a myriad of ways.
Challenge:
- Scrape Data: Identify a target audience and scrape relevant data from publicly available sources like social media, websites, or APIs. This data should be rich enough to derive meaningful insights about user behavior, preferences, and demographics.
- Build a Data Pipeline: Develop a robust pipeline to clean, process, and store the scraped data. Ensure that the pipeline is efficient, scalable, and capable of handling real-time data if necessary.
- Create User Personas: Using the processed data, generate detailed user personas that represent the key segments of the target audience. These personas should be insightful and include demographic information, behavioral traits, and potential user needs or pain points.
- Objective: By the end of the challenge, participants should have a set of user personas that can be used by businesses to tailor their marketing strategies, product development, or customer support initiatives.
📌 Social Track: Technology Against Gender-Based Violence
Gender-based violence is a pervasive issue affecting millions of people worldwide. Technology can play a crucial role in both prevention and support for victims. This track challenges participants to develop innovative technological solutions that address gender-based violence in meaningful ways.
Challenge:
- Identify a Problem Area: Choose a specific aspect of gender-based violence to address, such as prevention, victim support, education, or reporting mechanisms. Consider local and global contexts to understand the scope and impact of the problem.
- Develop a Tech Solution: Create a prototype or MVP (Minimum Viable Product) that leverages technology to address the chosen problem. This could be a mobile app, web platform, AI tool, or any other tech-based solution.
- Consider User Safety and Privacy: Ensure that the solution prioritizes the safety and privacy of users, especially when dealing with sensitive issues like violence and abuse.
- Objective: The final product should have the potential to make a real difference in the lives of those affected by gender-based violence, either by providing direct support, raising awareness, or enabling safer communities.
📌 Open Track: Innovate Your Way
The Open Track is designed for freshers and sophomores only who are eager to showcase their creativity and technical skills. This track encourages participants to innovate freely, without the constraints of a predefined theme.
Challenge:
- Choose a Problem or Idea: Identify a problem you’re passionate about or an innovative idea you’ve been wanting to explore. This could be anything from a simple app that makes life easier to a complex tool that solves a specific challenge.
